Message	tiny hole easier. Just as a thought, If you bought new ones do you think they come prefilled? I don't know because I have not seen how a new lifter is packaged, but they would have to prefill them and tape off the hole so that they did not leak during shipping. The ATF will give you enough protection and allow the lifters to be replaced with oil under pressure and it won't take forever.
